Benchmarking
Admatha Dementia Care and Avonlea Rest Home are part of the Quality Performance Systems Benchmarking Programme. This programme provides a comprehensive set of indicators aligned to standards which assist us to measure our internal performance as well as compare our results with other facilities in N.Z. and that are very similar.
Our hospital psychogeriatric hospitals at Millvale House Levin, Millvale House Waikanae and Admatha Lodge are benchmarked against each other.
For both systems, data is collected monthly. Results are analysed monthly for our internal benchmarking and quarterly through the QPS system. From this, anomalies are identified and quality improvements initiated.
This benchmarking is very helpful to us. It helps us to identify how we are doing and where we need to focus our attention.
