We are looking for an experienced cook who is able to provide:
• Individual, tasty and appetising meals for our residents, with an emphasis on simple, wholesome home cooking
• Well-presented meals that look as delicious as they taste
• Wonderful home baking
• An efficient, hygienic and smoothly running kitchen
The position involves 7 days per fortnight, 9.75 hours per day, and relieving.
Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

EXPERIENCED CAREGIVERS – FULL TIME

We are looking for caregivers who are passionate about working in this way. You will be caring for people with advanced dementia. This is rewarding and challenging work requiring the ability to work as a team, assess frequent changes in mood and cognitive functioning, and successfully manage behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.

We are seeking the following experience/qualifications for this interesting and demanding role, and/or nursing experience:

  • Experience in dementia care, preferably with experience in hospital level care
  • A current first aid certificate
  • Unit Standards in dementia care
  • Training in the Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit

A variety of shifts is available, including night shifts. Weekend work will be required.
